I bought this software for use in college, but already in first class that he had closed without explanation. I tried again and it passes 90 minutes the program crashes and not worth saving the file does not open again. I missed three classes and I am looking for another program. I spent money for nothing

Great app, it not only record the audio but also link the audio to the written text, it`s amazing!

... but still the best tool available for a small price. Suggested improvements: - Make App Title shorter (it fills half of the menubar) - Design a decent icon - Replace the blue toolbar with a standard gray toolbar.

Dont get suckered in like I just did. Not only does the audio record OVER ITSELF (rendering audio notes useless), the means of linking this audio to the words you type is hardly intuitive....theres no "track list", which there should be, so that you can take different pieces of audio and drag them onto certain bits of text. Also, a drawing tool is great, but what good is it if I cant label the drawings with text? Using the tab key moves text around, but its not the point & click sort of text tool that you need for this sort of application. Im very sorry I paid for this, and I wish I could get my $10 back. Such a good concept, such poor performance.

I have used the same software on the iPad and it is quite useful. One of the best softwares available for taking notes in the meetings. Highly recommended.

Great app, really useful when taking notes in class. However, there are a few things which I noticed. Firstly, when your recording, the sound of typing is really loud. The solution is to simply type softer, though you still hear it. Another thing which I noticed is that its hard to draw diagrams with the drawing tools, I havent found a soltion to that. But overall, great app, Ive been using it for about a month now and could not be more pleased!

Great applicaton…. the only down is that do not allow you to import image to the notes….

I was attracted to this program because of the synchronized notes and audio, and in that respect it works very well. However, I have noticed some problems. For example the spelling correction is a bit problematic. It ends up correcting your word before you finish typing it, unless you type fairly quickly. for instance, if you were to type "important" slowly, it would sometimes correct it to "Important" which although annoying, doesnt make your notes unreadable. Still, it would be nice to be able to turn autocorrect off. Also, a list button would be nice. I have been dwelling on the negative aspects of this software, but on the whole, I am very happy with my purchase. Money well spent.

Pretty good! The only problem is that you cant paste a picture from an other document in the audionote doc.

This is a pretty good app. Im using it to record lectures (to review at later dates) and type any additional notes of my own at the same time. The only HUGE issue I have with this app is that why have a Save function that doesnt work? I saved file ("Save As" function) at the very beginning and continually saved added material (by using the "Save" function) to prevent losing everything, but ended up in losing everything because of the save function not even working. My advice for now: dont save the file until youre done and just use the Save As function to save your stuff.

Ive been having some issues with the new version. The eraser, and the line/circle created have stopped popping up when i click on them, which is very fustrating. However, I really enjoy the app, and have found it very useful in class.

An already awesome app further improved. A must have for students. You can type notes as well as record audio in it while sitting in the class room. This app removes a major deficiency in Apple computers which otherwise are always at the top of the technology world… Update: After using it for a few months, I realize that its drawing tool does need a labelling feature.

Its the best to use for those classes where the proffs talk so much and so fast that is it really hard to write what they are saying down and listen to them. It really helped me make better notes and more acurate notes! :)

overal its a good app, but: a) you cant decrease or increase the width of the application ( which is a problem if you are also keeping another window open to its side) b) you cant zoom in our out c) you can choose the size of your font. d) it is sharp on retina (much better than any other word proccecing program); but you could see that it could be improved when you compare it with text in safari

Not too bad of an app but when you use the pen mode to draw a line under something to underline the sentence, then switch back to text mode, the line appears above the text instead of below.. Hopefully they fix this because everything you draw moves up one space when you start typing again. Also very dumb that you cannot change the dimensions of the app, or go into full screen like any other app. NEEDS MUCH IMPROVING

really good tool for note taking. i find myself needing a shortcut for bullet points because i use them quite a bit and it disrupts the flow when i have to mouse over and click the button also a text box option for labeling diagrams would be appreciated. when using tab you can only move to half the page. it just drops down to the next line after going to half page. other than that really really good!

I have been using it for the past year in classes and it has revolutionized the way I study and my marks have increased since. However, it would be very useful to have some improvements: -being able to size it to use with other open windows, - adding a bold, italic and underline option.

HI this is wonderful software, great for transcribing my appointments… however I just downloaded the full version and realized I cant print? Can someone help me with this?

Really great for lectures except you cant print! Why not?
