I love this software!! It’s an ingenius idea that works really well and has helped me become significantly more productive. Plus, you can share your files with friends who can download the free version to hear and see your notes.

AudioNote is a fantastic app. In my opinion, for most users who require audio/text syncing, this app is a fantastic choice. What stands out to me is the simple interface, and individual files saved. Other note syncing apps, like One Note and Notability, save all of your notes in one database file which creates for laggy apps. Onto the problem. If you’re recording in excess of 200 minutes, the app lags so much so, it slows down my entire computer. This is not an issue I’ve experienced on one computer, but three, including a new 2015 MBP. The developer was very responsive but was unable to help me fix my issue and the issue remained on the latest update. So for me, I cannot use this app. Nonetheless, despite my issues, it’s a solid app but not 5 stars.

Wish you would incorporate the ability for the product to type as it records.

I love this app! Please include a tool to hyperlink data/items in your notes. It would be very helpful to be able to link content in my notes to websites. Thank you for your consideration.

The update has new fonts which I appreciate, But if you like to highlight either dont buy or update. Its that bad, I have had to rewrite all my notes because the highlighter has messed up all my note. I use to love the highlighter now its just horrible.

Audionote combines all the tools needed to capture meetings, presentations and general information. It’s an everyday tool with amazing usefulness.

I like the app but it crashed and I lost all of my notes for college but besided that it was a good app for taking notes

I use this to record all of my client meetings. Now instead of taking detailed notes, I just write down the most significant parts, and I can always go back and play the full text of the audio to catch bits that I missed. If I don’t completely understand or hear what the client is saying, I just make a note to myself to ‘review this audio’ and I can instantly jump back to that at any time. This app is a major productivity booster for me.

I’ve been using this for several years now, on a weekly basis. Nothing beats it for taking notes in a fast-moving meeting. I start the recording, and ocassionally type comments or draw sketches, and they’re all linked to the corresponding time in the recording. Makes it easy to go back through hour-long meetings to find specific points. The only complaint I have is that it’s hard to trim-down recordings where I forgot to turn it off. Maybe some kind of time limit (with a warning) after which it automatically stops recording. Really worth 10X what I paid for it.

This app is probably one of the most useful apps I have on my Mac. It may not be perfect, but when it comes down to it, it works great for what I need it to do. I got this app a while ago, so I do not remember if I paid $5 for it or not, but it is definitely worth that and more!! Definitely a must have for anyone who has to follow lectures, meetings, etc.!!!!

I use this app all the time for our work meetings. I would like to see the ability to export into other programs. I don’t know if that is possible, though. But that’s really not that big of a deal breaker.

I use this program at church to record and take notes on my iPhone. It works very well. I really like how you can listen to the recording and click a word in your notes and the recording jumps to where you were while you were typing that text. Very nice. I like taking pictures from the powerpoint screen during the sermons. The only thing that I can think that would make this aspect a little more functional would be to allow for a quick option to crop the picture. This would really change my life. Because if you could crop the picture then you wouldn’t have to open it up so large to to be able to read it on the page. I could crop just the power point screen and my document would flow so much nicer. That is my only prayer for this app :-) Thanks Marco

Every time I open AudioNote it hangs and then creates two dozen “Untitled” documents. Any further interaction then causes the app to crash. I have sent a report to Apple, but avoid this software until it’s fixed for good.

I dont understand why it wants me to buy the app again, I have bought it already and now that I upgraded it just allows a total of 5 Minutes recording. Please fix this

I am a huge fan of the cross-device functionality of this app. I can dictate song lyrics into my iPhone and a record a demo anywhere while reading the text. Then. when I arrive at my studio, it is already on my Mac and my iPad and ready to be recorded in earnest. I use it primarily for this purpose although it is also great for recording spontaneous songs in concert on my iPad which I can later transcribe if they turn out to have any lasting value, as well as email them to the person for whom I wrote the song. All in all, a great app and one of top 5 most useful apps ever!
